Bill Douglas was one of the British cinema's most innovative auteurs.  As well as making films, he assembled a remarkable collection of items.

The Bill Douglas Cinema Museum is home to one of the largest collections of material relating to the moving image in Britain. Both an accredited public museum and an academic research facility, it holds a collection of over 75,000 items. It’s a great place to visit for cinephiles of all ages.
