Inspired Villages selects ARJ as construction partner for its next village in Albourne, Sussex

Wednesday 20^th December - Leading later living operator and developer, Inspired Villages, has today announced it will be working with ARJ Construction on its latest development in Albourne, Sussex, as work gets underway.

The Albourne project, named Wellcroft Green, once delivered in full, will provide 84 age-appropriate, sustainable homes for almost 120+ over-65’s. In addition to the apartments and cottages, there will be facilities including a restaurant, café, meeting space and wellness facilities that will be open to residents and the local community.

The development will provide further benefit to the local area and economy by creating over 80 construction jobs, and approximately 20 operational jobs once complete. Works began earlier this month and the project is expected to run until summer 2026 with the first units available for occupation by Summer 2025.

Albourne joins a fast-growing pipeline that puts Inspired Villages on track to deliver its plan of creating 34 communities comprising 5,100 homes for 8,000 over 65’s. It currently operates nine villages and Albourne will become the fourth additional site under construction with two of these villages due to open in 2024 at Hampshire sites Chandlers Ford and Horndean.
