"Thank you for the delightful flowers you gave us to mark our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Lockdown was the last thing we expected to crown our celebrations, so we very much appreciated the flowers to cheer us up.
We’d like to express our appreciation of the new virtual shop and of the home meals delivery service. We were very pleased by the quality of the veg that was delivered. As you may know, fish and chips on Friday is a regular social highlight for a number of us, so I think I speak not only for ourselves but also for others in saying that fish and chips out of paper last Friday was absolutely delicious!"

“I’ve certainly not felt lonely, the village grounds are 50 odd acres, so I like to go for woodland walks with a friend and look at the baby ducklings on the pond. You can go for a 40-minute walk but you end up seeing a dozen people and stopping to chat so that walk turns into an hour and a half!”
“There’s usually lots of activities at the village, I’ve volunteered behind the bar and at the village shop and there’s line dancing and Scottish dancing. You’d have to be a very strange person if you couldn’t find something to do here!"
