At Inspired Villages, we have measures in place that will allow you to find out more about life at Gifford Lea.
In these unprecedented times we have all had to make a few changes, and at Gifford Lea that includes the visitor experience. The safety and wellbeing of our residents, colleagues and our visitors are our top priorities and so we have put in place some protocols that will give you peace of mind that you can still safely visit and start planning the retirement you want, with us.
Please book an appointment to visit
Whereas in the past, visitors would sometimes walk in on the day without an appointment, we now ask that everyone pre-books their visit in advance to help us regulate the number of visitors. On arrival, we do take the temperature of visitors. This means you can safely tour the village and the home you are interested in with appropriate social distancing.
When you pre-book, our friendly village advisors will issue a health screening questionnaire to ensure no visitors with coronavirus symptoms are coming into the village.
Protective equipment for you, residents and our teams
We ask that all visitors wear a face mask when they come into any indoor space at Gifford Lea. Our village teams will also be wearing PPE. These measures are in place to prevent the potential spread of coronavirus and for total peace of mind.
A sanitised environment
Hand sanitiser is provided and we ask all guests to sanitise on entering the village. We have enhanced cleaning protocols in place – which means everywhere you will be shown around will have been cleaned to an exceptionally high standard.
Village facilities
Visitors currently can’t come into our central communal facilities, to help keep residents safe. We are very happy to arrange for a virtual tour of these facilities though so you can see them from the comfort and safety of your own sofa. Furthermore, Gifford Lea has spacious, beautifully landscaped grounds with outdoor facilities. Our village advisors will be very happy to show you around these parts of the villages during your visit.
For safety reasons we are sadly not able to introduce you to our residents, which is a shame as they are a very friendly bunch. However, you can hear what a lot of them have to say about living in an Inspired village here.
