Millbrook, Retirement Village in Devon
Devon is the perfect choice for those that love breathing in the fresh sea air, yet love to hustle and bustle of vibrant cities and towns. On the River Exe, in the ancient town of Exeter, is our lovely retirement village, Millbrook. Millbrook is a retirement village full of 1,2 and 3 bedroom later-living properties, available to buy and rent.
One thing that Exeter is not short of is history. From Exeter Cathedral, with its stunning gothic architecture, to the historic quayside, which is full of history, beautiful architecture and plenty of things happening all year round. We also recommend taking a trip to Powderham Castle, which lies within a beautiful deer park on the banks of the River Exe - you can soak in the history before getting some fresh air by exploring the beautiful grounds.
Exeter may be compact, but it is full to the brim with things to do and see from independent shops, bars, restaurants and cafes - you’ll be able to find some hidden gems while supporting local businesses. We recommend taking a trip to Artigiano, which serves delicious coffee, shakes and smoothies during the day and serves delicious cocktails, mocktails and wines at night. Or, head to Harry’s restaurant, which has been serving the people of Exeter delicious food for affordable prices for over 20 years.
