I am writing in support of the proposed retirement community off Blounts Court Road in Sonning Common.

This development will help meet the growing need for more purpose-built housing for older people and deliver significant local benefits, including:

• A swimming/hydrotherapy pool, fitness studio, gym and treatment rooms that will be open to eligible residents from the wider community.
• A 51% net increase in biodiversity across the site, as part of our commitment to sustainable development.
• A total gross investment value of £100m and the creation of new jobs, during both the construction and operation phases.
